Seryosha Garcia Alvarez, Cienfuegos, Cuba

I had a chat with Seryosha Garcia Alvarez. I met with him on the sixty-ninth floor of the Malpica Savings and Loans building, the second-tallest building in Cuba after Havana's Jose Marti Tower. Cuba won the Zombie War. Before the war, they lived in a state of quasi-isolation, worse then during the height of the cold war. The U.S. blockade suffered their economic lifeblood by punishing any nation that attempted free and open trade. The repressive nature of their fortress society allowed the government to take steps to ensure that the infection was never allowed to spread. Seryosha also stated that Cuba was prepared for the war. I was suprised when he said that. Of all the countrie, Cuba wiuld be the last of being prepared. They have hundreds of political parties and more specialixzed groups than sands on their beaches. They have strikes, riots, and protests almost everyday.

I agree with you that Cuba would be the least prepared for the war. I think the only reason why he said this was because they were not bordering any other country. Therefore they would not have to worry about out breaks of the disease. But I would not say they were the most prepared
